Saverio Pastor è decano dei remeri di Venezia.
Lui fa remi e forcole per gondole ed altre barche tradizionali da oltre 25 anni
Non è che ci siano tanti remeri, però. Per quanto so io ci sono tre attivi professionalmente.
Le forcole di Saverio sono opere d’arte. Tante vengono venduti e spedire all’estero dove vengono esposti come sculture in legno.
Il suo laboratorio a Dorsoduro ormai è una meta turistica, con gruppi grandi e piccoli prenotati mesi in anticipo.
Io ci sono andato a fine novembre a fargli delle foto su commissione della CNA per un progetto di promozione dell’artigianato a Venezia.
